Amiri & Amina Baraka are also visual artists. Mr. Baraka had a show of his drawings at the Aljira Gallery in Newark in 1998.  He had extensive drawings in the Black Arts Show, Puck Building, NYC 2001 and in the Hanks Gallery, Los Angeles, 2001.  Amina Baraka is a unique and striking sculptor.
